To identify the new value proposition for Mount Faber Park through co-designing with citizens, to find out current pain points and challenges for visitors, and define a desired future for the park's redesign.
Over 6 months, more than 200 current and potential park-goers were interviewed via focus group discussions, surveys and polls. Participants were also involved in co-designing their desired future experience within the park via virtual facilitation (via Zoom) and an online collaboration whiteboard (MURAL).
Gathering ideas from the participants, the ThinkPlace team synthesised and designed visuals that proposed ideas for the future Mount Faber Park. These materials were put up around the park from Feb-Mar 2022 for in-situ user testing and feedback. The surveys gathered over 170 responses from the public.
The results of the survey was used to rank the preferences of what Mount Faber visitors desired in the revamped park.
