A personal project to redesign a past group project. The Hirelearning Web was created as one half of a two-part project in 2016. This project was a collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower and the Association of Persons with Special Needs, Centre for Adults. The website was created to enable employers to be better equipped with knowledge and tools to aid them in hiring Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs).

Professional advice of Special Educators, Job Coaches, Employers, from APSN-CFA, MOM & Mount Elizabeth (Novena). We also did interview sessions with the heads of the management committee within APSN -CFA. Co-design sessions were done with Job Coaches and Employers to get a hands-on thorough understanding of the information they prioritise while on the job and what tools we could equip them with.

Hirelearning Web is one half of a two-part solution to finding and sustaining employment for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). It is an educational website aimed for employers, providing them with general learning about working alongside employees with disabilities, personalised tips and printable tools for the workplace.
The website curates existing information APSN collects from each individual client, and presents these to the employers looking to hire.

At a glance, employers are able to view all hired employees, with an individualised profile designed to provide unique information about each employee. With individual strengths and weakness, and comments from educators and even their parents.

Learning portion of the web is adapted from information we learnt from co-designing with Job Coaches. It serves to guide employers through the hiring process, providing them knowledge on employing persons with disabilities.
