B R I E F
For this project, we collaborated with MOM and APSN-CFA to identify issues leading to poor job sustainability for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) within CFA, and worked to develop an educational platform that helps bridge the gap between employing PWIDs and improving their job readiness.
In this project, solutions were targeted at employees with Mild Intellectual Disabilities (MID) and their employers.

Social Awareness Learning for Employees with Mild Intellectual Disability
Social Awareness Learning for Employees with Mild Intellectual Disability
B E I N G W O R K - R E A D Y
Employees with Mild Intellectual Disabilities have impaired adaptive behaviour, which causes them difficulty in acquiring the skills for appropriate social behaviour, often causing problematic behaviours in the workplace.
Through interactive storytelling and learning exercises, we aimed to impart social awareness skills by lowering the learning curve, allowing these individuals to succeed in their working environments.

Educational Web for Employers Hiring Persons with Disabilities
Educational Web for Employers Hiring Persons with Disabilities
B E I N G H I R E - R E A D Y
Through the educational web, employers are equipped with hands on knowledge on how to deal with meltdowns and tantrums in the workplace. They are empowered to communicate with their employees with personalised and targeted information so as to ensure on-the-job interventions are timely and appropriate.
Thus, reducing misunderstandings and improving empathy in the workplace.
This project has been further developed and implemented within APSN's CFA.
